These grants are great funding options for students pursuing an overseas internship,
participating in a study abroad program or conducting research abroad!
What you need to know:
The online application requires both a summary of the proposed program and a detailed budget estimate. All
or part of the proposed budget may be awarded. This grant will be processed as an
OSU travel document; the funds are dispersed on a reimbursement basis, meaning you
will have to prepay airfare and other travel expenses.
To be eligible for the grant, you must be earning academic credit while abroad. Internship
proposals will only be considered if internship academic credit is available through your

Don & Cathey Humphreys share a passion for the benefits of high education and global
studies. Thanks to their generosity, students from several universities have the opportunity
to travel abroad through endowed scholarships and programs.
The Humphreys' Long-Term Travel Grants are administered by faculty members from across
OSU who are appointed by the Board of Regents and have a demonstrated record of professional
accomplishments and global experience.
