Humphreys Long-Term Travel Grant

Any student. Any major. Any level.
This merit-based funding opportunity is a great option for any OSU student interested in pursuing an overseas internship, participating in a study abroad program, or conducting research abroad.

What you need to know:

The online application requires both a summary of the proposed program and a detailed budget estimate. All or part of the proposed budget may be awarded. This grant will be processed as a scholarship through OSU Scholarships and Financial Aid and dispersed into the Awardee's OSU Bursar account after verifying arrival abroad for their educative experience.
To be eligible for the grant, you must be earning academic credit while abroad. Preference is given to programs lasting 8+ weeks and to proposals with destinations outside of Western Europe. Students proposing programs lasting a minimum of 6 weeks are still encouraged to apply as long as they outline a robust case justifying their proposal.

8+Weeks Preferred

Overseas experiences lasting at least 8 weeks are given preference for funding.

MeritBased

Proposals are evaluated on merit alone, not financial need.
