Update for the OSU International Community
July 16, 2020
On July 14, OSU was pleased to have received notification that the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have agreed to rescind their July 6, 2020 policy that would bar international students taking online-only courses from residing in the United States. ICE will revert back to the guidance it issued in March 2020 that allows continuing international students taking online courses to reside in the United States on F-1 visas.
Oklahoma State University and the Stillwater community appreciate and value our international students and the many ways they enrich us.
The Office of International Students and Scholars will monitor the situation and inform the campus community as needed. Please feel free to reach out to tim.huff@okstate.edu with questions or concerns.
