All prospective members must be nominated by a current Phi Beta Delta member. For a list of all local PBD members, click here.
Criteria for Faculty & Staff
- Distinguished academic faculty and staff who have been involved in recognized international endeavors such as teaching, conducting research, participating in projects abroad, participating in exchange programs, leading study abroad programs, or providing services to international students and scholars

Criteria for Students
- Open to undergraduate and graduate students based on these criteria:
- Undergraduate students with a minimum GPA of 3.2 need to have completed 45 credit hours at the time of nomination and at least one semester at OSU
- Graduate students with a minimum GPA of 3.5 need to have either (a) completed at least one semester in their graduate program at time of nomination with evidence of undergraduate academic distinction at a previous institution or previous degree at OSU, or (b) completed two or more semesters in their OSU graduate program at time of nomination
- Students can demonstrate active involvement in promoting international understanding within Oklahoma State University, the City of Stillwater, or the State of Oklahoma
- Students have either conducted study, research, internship, or volunteerism in a setting abroad or have comparable international experience where academic relevance can be demonstrated
