About IPGS
Founded in 2016, IPGS is a multi-disciplinary program that focuses on Iran and the
Persian Gulf and seeks to leverage OSU faculty expertise towards developing knowledge
about the region’s intersecting economic, cultural, political, and ecological dimensions.
Thanks to a generous gift from the Farzaneh Family Foundation, the IPGS program endows OSU faculty to conduct focused research, organizes academic
programming, and offers related courses on this important region.
