Fulbright Scholars and Staff Programs
Fulbright offers opportunities available to college and university faculty, administrators and staff, as well as for professionals, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars and many others. In addition to several new program models designed to meet the changing needs of U.S. academics and professionals, Fulbright offers flexible awards including multi-country opportunities.
Types of Awards

Long-term Programs
The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers approximately 470 teaching, research or combination teaching/research awards in over 125 countries.
Short-term Programs
Fulbright offers Specialist Programs for U.S. academics and professionals to engage in two- to six-week, project based exchanges at host institutions across the globe to serve as expert consultants on curriculum, faculty development, institutional planning.
Fulbright Administrators Programs help U.S. education professionals and officials create empowering connections with the societal, cultural and higher education systems of other countries. Grantees have the opportunity to learn about the host country’s education system as well as establish networks of U.S. and international colleagues over the course of an intensive two week grant duration.
