Approved Provider Health & Safety Program
All students traveling as participants in OSU Study Abroad Programs are required to have travel insurance. Most Approved Third Party provider programs have international health insurance built into their programs fees. Students will be required to submit proof of coverage from their provider or they will be billed by OSU for OSU international insurance. A small $80 Health and Safety Fee is billed to all students on provider programs for online safety trainings and other resources to augment the insurance coverage that the student receives from their program provider. Students whose program provider does not offer insurance coverage will be enrolled in the “OSU Health and Safety Program: Reciprocal Exchange/Direct Enrollment” category.
