The Application Process: International Exchange Students
Incoming international students interested in attending Oklahoma State University for a semester or academic year are encouraged to follow the steps below. If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact our office.

- Step 1
Meet with your home study abroad coordinator to discuss placement with Oklahoma State University (OSU).
- Step 2
If selected, your home coordinator will notify the OSU Study Abroad Office.
- Step 3
The OSU Study Abroad Office will create an application for you to complete. You will receive an e-mail to activate your account and access to the application. Please sign and submit all required materials. Once completed, our office and Admissions team will review the application and determine if the student can be admitted to OSU.
- Step 4
Once admitted, we will send a Welcome Packet with additional information to your home university to begin the process of applying for a J-1 visa and preparing for arrival to Oklahoma.
