Reciprocal Exchange Partners: Semester(s) Programs
- Students pay tuition and fees to OSU at the same tuition rate they normally pay. No tuition paid abroad
 - Students stay enrolled at OSU while studying abroad
 - Most existing tuition-based scholars still apply including academic scholarships, Oklahoma Promise, etc.
 - Students receive OSU residential credit, not transfer credit for all courses taken abroad
 - Priority and Non-Priority application deadlines are listed here. Please review carefully
 - Fees to participate include $300 OSU application fee, $80 health/safety fee, $200 study abroad admin fee, and OSU insurance fees.
 
Approved Providers: Semester(s) & Summer Programs
- "All inclusive" programs developed and run by OSU approved study abroad providers
 - Programs offer locations in countries/cities unavailable via OSU exchange partners
 - Study abroad, intern abroad or do a combination of both
 - Programs usually include visa assistance, excursions, health insurance, housing arrangements and on-site support
 - Housing options can range from on-campus dorms, private apartments or host families
 - Students pay the providers directly and receive transfer credit for courses taken abroad. No tuition paid to OSU
 - OSU application deadlines listed here, but provider deadlines may be earlier! Check provider websites!
 - Discounted programs for OSU students from API and IAU. Ask us for more information!
 - Fees to participate include $50-150 OSU application fee, a provider application fee, $80 health/safety fee, and $200 study abroad admin fee
 
Short-Term Faculty-Led Programs
- Typically occur during winter, spring or summer break
 - Student pays tuition, fees and additional costs directly to OSU usually in installments
 - Courses are sponsored and administered by individual colleges or departments
 - Students typically receive 3 credits for these short-term programs
 - Students are welcome to apply to most faculty-led programs, even if sponsored by a college other than their own
 - Fees to participate include an application fee set by the college, a $200 study abroad admin fee, and OSU insurance fees which are embedded into the program fee set by the college/department (CAS and Global Learning led programs will not embed OSU insurance fees and will bill students seperately)
 
Study Center in Arezzo, Italy
- Unique opportunity to study with OSU and OU students at the OU Arezzo Study Center
 - Open to all OSU students from all backgrounds and interests
 - All credits earned are transfer credits from the University of Oklahoma
 - Program includes cultural activities and multiple excursions
 - International internships are also available
 - Fall semester programs only
 
National Student Exchange
- "Study Away" at over 170 universities in the United States, U.S. Territories and Canada
 - Pay OSU tuition & fees (home pay) or in-state tuition at host university (host pay)
 - Unique out-of-classroom programs that offer classes/majors that might not be available at OSU
 - Study in the islands, mountains, and big cities! Also diverse locations include HBCU's and HSI's!
 - Visit the NSE website and search by your major or other unique program characteristics
 - Semester based program with some summer options available
 - Fees to participate include $150 OSU application fee and a $150 NSE processing fee (per semester/AY away at a single host university)
