The role of the Academic Advisor in the study abroad process is critical if students wish to make the most of their experience, including bringing appropriate credits back to OSU and staying on track to complete their degrees in a timely fashion.

Insurance
All Oklahoma State University students and non-employees traveling abroad under the auspices of OSU are required to have adequate emergency medical insurance coverage for the duration of their academic program abroad
Emergency Response Resources
The following resource materials are provided for study abroad program leader reference. OSU recommends that in addition to reviewing the materials you also take a hard copy of each item abroad as you travel with students. Access to contact numbers and emergency response protocols is critical during an emergency and access to the internet is not always available in all locations or situations.
