OSU Faculty Organize Panel for Royal Anthropological Institute Conference at British Museum

Dr. Pedram Khosronejad, Associate Director of Iranian and Persian Gulf Studies at Oklahoma State University, and Dr. Louise Siddons, OSU Associate Professor in Art History, organized a panel titled “Beauty and the beast: Photography, the body and sexual discourse in the Middle East and Central Eurasia” for the Art, Materiality and Representation Conference June 1-3 in London, England.

The conference was organized by the Royal Anthropological Institute, the British Museum’s Department of Africa, Oceania and the Americas, and the Department of Anthropology at the School of Oriental and African Studies. The conference took place at the British Museum, the School of Oriental and African Studies, and the Senate House of the University of London.
