The School of Global Studies wouldn't be what it is today without all of our alumni, and we want to celebrate you in a big way this year with a Homecoming Weekend full of activities! All SGS alumni and their families are invited to celebrate the School's 20th Anniversary in Stillwater during Homecoming Weekend Oct. 18-19. Stay tuned to this page and the School of Global Studies and Partnerships social media for more details as they become available! Please fill out the registration at the bottom of this page.
Schedule of Events
3 p.m. SGS Alumni Reunion All-Cohort Reception *
Wes Watkins Center West Hallway
We will kick off the weekend with a social hour and cocktail reception in the Wes Watkins Center. Alumni will be able to see the updates that have been made to the Wes Watkins Center as well as meet current faculty and staff and hear more about future plans. Hors d'oeuvres will be served. Each guest over 21 will receive two drink tickets.
**There will be a drawing for FOUR club-level seats for the Homecoming Game **
5 p.m. Walkaround
University Avenue / Greek Row
Following the reception, we will head to the Greek Neighborhood for the iconic OSU Homecoming Walkaround. Students from the Greek community volunteer hundreds of hours to build the house decorations for the OSU family to enjoy.
9 p.m. Homecoming & Hoops Spirit Rally
9 a.m. Sea of Orange Homecoming Parade

We will gather together at a designated spot on Main Street to enjoy donuts, coffee and juice and watch the Sea of Orange Parade, which consists of more than 140 entries by OSU Greek houses, residential halls, student organizations, OSU alumni and the Stillwater community. The parade is broadcast live by students of the OSU School of Media and Strategic Communications on Facebook and OStateTV.
11 a.m. School of Global Studies Alumni Tailgate *
First tent closest to the Wes Watkins Center on Hall of Fame Ave.
Prior to the Homecoming football game versus the Baylor Bears, the School of Global Studies alumni and their families are invited to tailgate with other SGS alums, faculty and staff. We will have a large tent with TVs and chairs for those who will not be going to the football game in Boone Pickens Stadium. Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.
The tailgate will open at 11 a.m., with food service from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

What does it cost?
All SGS-sponsored events are free to attend, but we ask you register (below). Guests are in charge of travel, transportation, parking and lodging costs. You can also purchase tickets to the OSU Homecoming football game here.
What do I wear?

Where can we park?
If you register for Friday's reception, we will have free parking passes for you to park in the lot just North of the Wes Watkins Center. Your car must be moved that evening or it will be towed as the lot becomes POSSE parking on Saturday. If you wish to drive to the Greek Neighborhood for Walkaround, you can pay to park in the 4th Avenue Garage.
On Saturday, you can pay to park in the Monroe Street Parking Garage, which is just northwest of the tailgate location and the Wes Watkins Center. You can also pay to park in any of the other garages on campus. Through the City of Stillwater, visitors can park in the more than 500 parking spaces downtown and be shuttled for free via bus to the north side of Boone Pickens, which is very close to our tailgate location!
